Molded-fiber trays are widely used in fruit and produce handling. The fibrous material allows air circulation, protects the product during transport and provides a sustainable packaging option.
Tray geometry is mould-specific: ventilation pattern, depth, stacking nests and drain behaviour are configured for the fruit or produce being handled. Because the ECP platform is product-flexible, a producer can serve the egg-tray and produce-tray markets from the same line.
