GDM ECPS-600E two-mold pulp forming machine
Image shown for presentation purposes. The actual machine may differ slightly in appearance and configuration.

The ECPS-600E is engineered as a true production line rather than a standalone machine. Pulp preparation, forming, drying and control are specified together, so the line operates as one balanced system from the first day.

For producers entering molded-fiber manufacturing, the model offers a realistic operating platform at a controlled investment level, with the same engineering logic used across the entire ECP range.

Best-fit project profile

A line is selected by production target and site conditions — not by model number alone.

The ECPS-600E suits new or localized molded-fiber production — a first production line, an entry into egg-tray manufacturing, or a compact installation where available floor area and utility infrastructure are limited.

  • First production line at a new or local site
  • Entry into molded-fiber or egg-tray production
  • Compact site with limited floor area or utility capacity
  • Start small with a defined growth path

Production process

  1. Pulp preparation

Recovered paper or approved fiber is mixed with water and prepared as a stable pulp suspension.

  2. Vacuum-assisted forming

Fiber is deposited on product-specific mesh moulds using vacuum. Process water is recovered into the closed water circuit.

  3. Synchronized transfer

Wet molded products are transferred from the forming moulds into the downstream carrier system.

  4. Drying and collection

Products are dried to the required moisture level and proceed to collection and downstream handling.

Major subsystems

Pulp preparation

Pulper, mixers, tanks and pulp transfer sized for the lower end of the capacity range.

Vacuum and process-water circuit

Vacuum-assisted dewatering with return-water circulation and a closed-loop process-water concept.

Forming and transfer

Product-specific molds with synchronized forming and transfer into the downstream carrier system.

Control and protection

PLC-based sequencing, operator interface and electrical protection configured for the project.

Drying

Insulated industrial dryer concept with forced hot-air circulation, sized for the production moisture load.

Product flexibility

The ECP platform is a molded-fiber production system. Product geometry is mould-specific, and transfer interfaces and process parameters are configured for the approved product.

The ECPS-600E produces egg trays and molded-fiber products whose geometry fits the compact mould module. Transfer interfaces and process parameters are configured per approved product.

Project configuration

Every line is configured for the specific project:

  • Product-specific mould sets for the target product geometry
  • Drying configuration matched to product and site conditions
  • Project-specific control configuration and operator interface
  • Line layout and infrastructure guidance for the site

Technical note

Rated capacities reference a standard 30-egg tray with a 320 × 320 mm mould module. Actual output depends on product geometry, pulp recipe, moisture target, drying conditions, mould configuration and the final project specification.
