Egg Tray Factory Requirements and Installation Readiness
Installation readiness begins with verified site data and a clear division between customer preparation and the contracted GDM scope.
Factory planning checklist
Confirm these interfaces before final engineering and quotation.
Civil works
Machine, dryer and pulper foundations
Drainage, access and lifting
Process systems
Pulp tanks and plumbing
Vacuum, compressed air and water
Energy
Electrical demand and panel interface
Dryer burner fuel line where applicable
Commissioning
Molds and raw material readiness
Customer technician, travel, visa and hotel responsibilities
Space, flow and access
The six standard models have a recommended production area of 150–200 m². Final layout must also consider raw-paper storage, finished-goods movement, dryer arrangement, maintenance access and local safety requirements.
150 m²: ECPS-600E and ECPS-900E
180 m²: ECPM-1200E and ECPM-1500E
200 m²: ECPL-1800E and ECPL-2200E
Utilities to verify
Electrical supply must support model-specific maximum startup or peak demand of 65–200 kW. This is a power requirement, not average energy consumption. Compressed air, water make-up, drainage, ventilation and the approved dryer-fuel arrangement also need project confirmation.
Initial closed-loop water fill: 3–9 m³ by model
Process water is recycled; typical make-up is about 20% per month, mainly due to evaporation
Typical whole-line staffing: 2–3 or 3–4 workers per shift, depending on model
Responsibility split
The customer normally prepares a compliant building, foundations where required, utility connections, permits, lifting and site access. GDM supplies only the equipment and services stated in the project agreement.
Commissioning readiness checklist
Before the installation team arrives, confirm the project drawings for machine, dryer and pulper foundations; prepare the locations and interfaces for pulp tanks, plumbing, vacuum equipment and molds; have the approved burner fuel line prepared by qualified local contractors; and appoint a customer technician for commissioning and training. Travel, visa and hotel responsibilities vary by project and must be stated in the quotation or contract—not assumed.
